For the third consecutive year, the Global Probiotics Council (GPC) is offering two $50,000 grants to rising young investigators in the field of probiotics. GPC was formed by Danone and Yakult Honsha Co., Ltd., and is designed to contribute to the advancement of probiotics and gastrointestinal microbiota research in the U.S. The Young Investigator Grants for Probiotics Research are expected to continue expanding knowledge about probiotics that may benefit health and prevent disease while supporting young researchers who will focus on the relationship between probiotics, gastrointestinal microbiota and the body.
